You will find attached a SPIP 1.7 distribution with .php extensions. The only difference with the english monolingual official distribution is that the .php3 file extensions, as well as all the referencess to these files, have been converted into .php.
It’s particularly useful for hosting which don’t accept .php3 extensions or which have different behaviours with them, such as free.fr, as well as for a local installation whith many default configurations, particularly Apache 2.0.
Do not forget to rename your skeletons and, if you have a mes_fonctions.php3 file, rename it mes_fonctions.php.
Just download one of the files hereafter:
SPIP-v1-7-PHP.zip for the multilingual distibution,
SPIP-v1-7-PHP-en.zip for the english distibution,
Then follow the usual installation procedure, just after step 2. of the manual installation.
